Grand Final
There was a short break after the semi-finals for the drivers to prepare their cars for the Grand Final. The race finally started at about 4PM. At the start, there were some incidents in the mid pack with several cars touching each other; the top few cars managed to have a clean start. At about the 3rd lap, Erwin Luhur was hit from behind, spun and ended up in the grass. By the time his car was placed back on the track, he was in 7th position. Bowie Genting overtook the lead follow by Tom Goh.

Erwin Luhur continued to drive consistently fast laps and by the 15th lap he was in the 2nd position… and by the 31st lap he was leading the race. Erwin Luhur continued to lead the race until around the 64th lap when bad luck struck and his 2nd gear suddenly stripped. He came in for a quick 2nd gear change by his pit crew and he dropped to 7th again. In the meantime, Tom Goh was driving a clean race without any problems and climbed from 7th to 2nd position. Bowie Ginting was driving a consistent race and maintained his 3rd position. Don Chng improved his position to 8th.

By 115th lap, Erwin Luhur had managed to climb up to 3rd position and again his 2-speed gear stripped. With this problem, there was no chance he could catch up to the 2nd position car as there was only about 7 minutes left in the race. The gap between Erwin Luhur and the 2nd and 1st position at this point was about 6sec and 18sec (less than 1 lap) respectively. Erwin Luhur continued to drive with only 1 speed and the final finishing position was as follows:
